iPhone Connection Troubleshooting
If your iPhone does not connect with the Desktop Backup Utility:
Verify same network: Both PC and iPhone must be on the same Wi-Fi network. Your iPhone may be on 4G/5G while your PC is on Wi-Fi. Check iPhone IP: Settings → WiFi → tap connected network → see IP Address. PC and iPhone IP range must be similar. If not, turn off mobile data and retry.
Disable firewall: Firewalls may block the connection. Mac Firewall: Settings → Security → Firewall → Stop.
macOS installation issue: If macOS prevents installation, go to: Settings → Security → General → Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere.

Windows 10/11 (x64), macOS 11+ (Intel/Apple Silicon). 100 MB free disk space recommended.
